Titus' Birth Story...BRACE yourself.
It's Friday, so Titus is almost 4 days old. Wow. I just can't believe it. Currently my mom is playing "merry maid/mom." She's doing a great job. As a matter of fact, she slept with me last night because Peter needed to go to work today. Originally I wasn't supposed to go home till today. Yes, that traumatic of an experience. :) She's currently changing his diaper, however, I'm sure she'd rather take a nap. Now both my par
Titus is everything I could have ever imagined! The dark curly hair sends me over the edge! His cheeks are huge and kissable and boy is his mouth huge. He's changed so much in the last few days and looks more and more like his dad every day. Praise the Lord for that. :) Even down to the olive skin. He has a bit of jaundice, however the doctor's and nurses said that almost all breast fed babies are a bit jaundice. He has to go to the hospital in the morning to get weighed and and get a bilirubin check as well. He weighed 8lbs 4oz at birth and of yesterday morning was down to 7lbs 12oz. That's 7% of his body weight. No, I didn't calculate that number, they did. :) I'm not the math expert these days, especially with all the narcotics I've been on.
Moving on, Sunday was everything we expected it to be. Very relaxed. We knew we had to be at the hospital between 9 and 10 to check in and start the "ripening" process. I didn't get cervadil, I got some pill that dissolves. It starts with a C though. :) They gave me one at 10pm and another one at 2am. We got in the room, unpacked our bags. I got in my polka dot hospital gown and laid in bed. YES, I brought my own hospital gown. :) I'll show pics when I get them downloaded. Peter set up his "chair bed" and we were ready go to. 10pm-2am was pretty uneventful. The only thing that really bothered me was that I couldn't go to sleep and the tape for my IV was pulling on my arm hairs! I had the nurse move it once. Then, the nurse came in and gave me the second pill. Luckily, I hadn't progressed any. Still at a 1 and 70% effaced. Seriously I thought? I then talked myself into trying to go to sleep! Yea right. Contractions started about 2:30am. I thought, I can handle this. I kept having to get up and go to the bathroom. I had to unplug the monitor and drag the cords with me. I wouldn't miss the peeing every 5 minutes I thought. The contractions started getting worse. I felt better standing up and walking around. I decide I should wake Peter up around 3:30am. I gently tapped him and said, I think it's time you hold my hand. Hahaha. He jumped up. It was hilarious. He threw on his jeans, put on his hat, folded up his bed...etc. I was like, where are you going? We're going to be here a while and I'm sure you'll get to go back to sleep when I get my epidural. Moving on...the nurse came in and by that point the contractions were every 3 to 6 minutes. Some closer together than others. But, very sporadic. I enjoyed sitting on the ball. 5:30am rolled around and they were every 1 to 2 to 3 minutes. I was concerned about waiting until 7 or 7:30am for my doctor to break my water. The nurse kept telling me she could give me Demerol, but that I'd have to have Phinegran to go with it because it could cause some major nausea. I was very against the Phinegran because I know it makes me go to sleep immediately. I didn't want to miss anything and feel drunk all day!!! I'm glad I waited. The nurse came back in at 6 and said Dr. Wai told me I could go ahead and get the epidural since they were so close together and he was about to break my water and he knew they'd be right on top of each other. I was totally okay with this. I head to the bathroom one more time and come out to find the Anesthesiologist. His name was Dr. Needleman. I kid you not. I wanted to make some jokes, but I was having contractions the whole time he was putting it in, so I had to focus on breathing. I felt the needle but it wasn't so bad. I was looking forward to it working. All of a sudden, it worked and I felt SO claustrophobic! I thought I'd enjoy feeling no pain, however, I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that I couldn't move my legs. It was a weird feeling. However, I felt no pain. An hour and half went by and Dr. Wai said he was going to break my water to see what would happen. He would wait on the Pitocin. The nurse checked me an hour later and I was only at a 2. Immediately after he broke my water I started feeling contractions in my left side. I was confused. They kept getting worse! They gave me Pitocin and then I felt them all the way in my lower abdomen! OUCH!!! I thought, what the heck! Dr. Wai came back in along with the new Anesthesiologist and they decided that I definitely needed to have my epidural redone. Before they did that they went ahead and gave me Demerol and Phinegran. So, I was drunk as a skunk when they gave me the second epidural. He told me to hold out and that it would start working. Well, it completely numbed my left leg but I could feel my right leg and right abdomen area. I was still feeling the contractions majorly! At this point I made it to a 4 and then a 6. Then, due to contractions in my low back and in front every 1 minute, they said the only option was to re do it again. Peter told me I asked the Dr. if I was going to have to pay for the 3 that didn't work. hhaaaa. Well, low and behold, that one didn't work either. Apparently, the space where the epidural goes in was so small that it wouldn't spread anywhere but my legs. Well, I had made it to a 7 and half, or a tight 8 as my Dr. would call it. He told me during a contraction that he could feel Titus' head coming down but that it would go right back up. So, I stayed there for about 2 hours....by this point I was crying. It hurt so bad and I was so sleepy that I just couldn't get ahold of myself. I punched that nurse's button to many times to count. My nurse ended up being from ACU, we figured out later, but wasn't the most comforting. She was sweet, but I think she was REALLY overwhelmed by the fact that none of my epi's didn't work! So, Peter was trying to comfort me and I was telling him at that point that I couldn't do it anymore and to do something. I had remained calm until then but could not get a hold of my crying. On top of that I was shivering harder than I've ever shivered in my life. Partly because of the epidurals and I had a 101 fever. This was a problem! They didn't want the baby to have a fever. We asked the nurse to call Dr. Wai and she said he'd be there in an hour. Peter very sternly said, she cannot wait an hour. So, Dr. Wai basically skipped the rest of his patients and ran right over. The next thing I remember is the nurse and Dr. Wai telling me it was time to do a C-Section. I was relieved, and Peter was freaked out! Dr. Fox gave me the max epidural that he could give me and said if I could feel anything then they would have to put me to sleep, trach and all! Peter wouldn't get to be in the operating room and I wouldn't see Titus until I woke up! I was so nervous that would happen so I cried more. All of a sudden I felt nothing else. They say they RARELY give that much epidural because if you deliver the baby you can't push or sit up. I was feeling better than I had felt all day. We all waited for about 20 minutes before the operating room opened. Peter, Dr. Wai, Dr. Fox, my nurse, my mom, who was crying, my dad and my sis and Peter's parents all came in. Oh and Rachel from Rachel Debell Photography was ready to photograph the birth. So, she gave me some pics of me in pain. I need to ask her for those so I can remember. :) Peter put on his scrubs and basically sat in this chair and didn't move. I kept asking him if he was okay, but I knew he wasn't. He was scared half to death that I was getting cut open!!! So, they wheel me in and make him wait outside to see if my epi was working. I remember then moving me over and putting the sheet up. I remember Dr. Fox covering me up with blankets and standing by my head ready to administer drugs if I felt anything. Dr. Wai took the tools and started squeezing my belly. Praise the Lord I felt nothing!! The next thing I know, Peter was by my head and I was being cut open. The next thing I remember was a feeling like someone was standing on top of my ribs and pushing as hard as they could! I felt it all! They say you're supposed to feel that sensation, but Titus' head was stuck in the birth canal and the rest of his body was basically under my rib cage. NO WONDER I couldn't' breathe. :) I start yelling that I couldn't take it anymore and asking how much longer. They were all encouraging me to hang in there because they wanted me to see Titus before they knocked me out!! Finally, out he came screaming! I cried and Peter stood up. He went over to take pictures and I could start feeling the drugs try to knock me into a deep sleep! They brought him over to my head and I looked and then they tell me they have to take him to the NICU because he was grunting. He had to much stress from labor and the delivery that he needed to calm down before transferring to the nursery. The next thing I know I'm awake in recovery. They had knocked me out because I felt way to much!! But, it was worth it not to have a trach down my throat and to get to hear sweet Titus cry!! The look on Peter's face was priceless. Luckily he brought a camera into the room! I was feeling pretty good in recovery but had to stay in there for an hour to come off the meds. They cleaned me up and wheeled me down the hall, past the waiting room to my regular room. It felt surreal because I hadn't really seen Titus yet. So, I was going to my room without him. Praise the Lord he followed shortly after and was able to come to me!!! I held him for the first time and saw those huge lips, dark hair and olive skin! It was breath taking! After all that work and hurt, I was finally holding him. All 8 lbs 4 oz. of him! I knew he'd be pretty big....
The next few hours were so special getting to watch Peter hold him and then me getting to feed him. I stayed in the hospital until Thursday. So, I was there from Sunday evening to Thursday afternoon. I was feeling pretty drunk the first few days, and then the real pain started kicking in. Luckily I had around the clock pain meds. I was feeling pretty bad until about Saturday morning and then I felt like a new woman come Sunday.
We've had some special time at home. Praise the Lord my mom has been here to keep me company during the days and nights. Titus left the hospital with jaundice and was down to 7lbs and 11 oz. We had to go back up to the hospital on Saturday morning to do a bilirubin check and weigh him. I worked really hard to get him to feed and to gain weight. Luckily he was back up to 8 lbs! Praise the Lord! His jaundice was down tremendously and we were home free.
Monday we went to the doctor for his first follow up and he was 8 lbs 8 oz. Apparently I have half and half. We go back on Thursday for his 2 week appointment and I guarantee he'll be 9 lbs. He's such a good eater.
We've had some rough nights! No one prepared me for the whole "milk coming in" process. I was MISERABLE! And, no one prepared me for the crying bits. Basically every time I look at Peter I get this overwhelming sensation to just want to squeeze and hold him and cry. It's hilarious and awful at the same time. He feels helpless. :) I know people tell you about the crazy love you have for your child, but no one prepared me for the love I'd feel for Peter after Titus was born. I miss him terribly while he's at work and wish he could be here all weekend with us! I'm overwhelmed by the Lord's mercy and grace for this birth story and I couldn't ask for a more precious baby. I'm learning what I can and can't eat so he won't hurt. It's hard and rewarding all at the same time. Last night we had a great night, but mom helped out alot. He slept in his crib for the first time and my mom brought him too me. I'll turn on the monitor Thursday night when she leaves and probably be sad and overwhelmed that I'm not going to have slumber parties with her and Titus anymore. Luckily, I'm used to feeding him.
Meanwhile, here's more pictures for you to enjoy!!!!! Thanks for all the sweet notes, texts and phone calls. Everyone is drunk with love for Titus around here and falling more in love with Jesus because of His miracle.

August 24th!
We had to have a serious talk about how big this baby is? I'm still a bit confused, because for all I know the baby could be just around 7 pounds. Last Friday's sono said he was 7.5 pounds. So, if he's grown like he's supposed to then he's already 8 as of yesterday. So, we spoke about inducing. I do not want to induce, however, I'm a bit scared to have a 9lb baby. I know the Lord created my body for this and it will work no matter how it happens. However, if I have a choice, I'd love to go into labor on my own instead of inducing or a c-section. So, on that note, we set a date for August 24th to induce, however, I'm praying hard that Titus decides to come on his own before then. August 25th was my 'original' due date in the beginning. So, he was confident that he's going to be more than ready by then.
So, what have I done? Yesterday I went to Target, and then went up to my sister's classroom and "nested" for 4 hours! I was an organizing maniac! I have NEVER seen so many school supplies in my life. I didn't know how much I missed them. :) I told her I'd come back up and finish this week if Titus allows. When Peter got home we headed on a date to Sweet Basil so I could get some Spicy Thai food, followed by Yogurtville. We enjoy Yogurland and Yogurtville. I swear the same people own both. After that, we went to Willow Bend mall to browse and walk, walk, walk. We were both exhausted after that and ended going to sleep at 9:30 last night! I of course woke up at 7 ready to go, but Peter has been at work by 6 every morning this week! So, I let him sleep till 8:30am. In the meantime, I made my grocery list, with none other than, Sharpies. :) I don't know what has gotten in to me, but I am obsessed!
When Peter woke up, we went to the bank, to Einstein's Bagels, Costco, Sprouts, and Wal-mart. We were both beat. So, what is Peter doing right now, napping. I tried..but to no avail. My brain won't shut up.
So, that's the news on the Titus front. I'll keep everyone updated! Have a great weekend!

37.5
Seriously people. Can I get any bigger?? Sorry for the no make-up and the air dried hair.... I thought that 2 weeks ago and I succeeded. Whew!!!!! I'm sitting here listening to Peter watch Telemundo because USA vs. Mexico is on. It's about to send me over the edge. I kindly asked them to put it on mute. :) He says he can figure out what they are saying. I haven't done much this week at all. Monday, nothing. Well, I take that back, I did color with Sharpies and cook dinner. Tuesday, hung out at my sister's all day and played Mario 3 on their Wii. The maid came. PRAISE HIS NAME. So, our goal is to keep it spotless before Titus comes. If I don't do anything, then it stays clean. I did get after the doors with paint yesterday. Don't worry it didn't smell. They were just dingy and I wanted them to look sparkly. :)
I made dinner for my sweet friend's The Baker's as well. Natasha had Jacob on Saturday. 9lbs people and NO C-SECTION! If you've seen her, you'd know this is amazing. Although, she did fracture her tailbone. EEEK. So, she's been in more pain than normal. We've walked through this pregnancy together, have the same Dr. and giving birth at the same hospital. It all made it very real!
I'm having no symptoms thus far. Just getting up to pee 7 times a night. That's super annoying. I feel like he's doing a hand stand on my bladder every hour! It's terribly painful and it's like heaven once I sit on the toilet. :) Sorry for image.
Everything is ready on this front! Although, I haven't really packed my bags. I should probably do that. Most of the stuff I'm taking is in a pile, just not in a bag or suitcase. I feel like it will make it all to real if I bust that out.
Anyways, not much else to say.....going to the Dr. on Friday for my 38 week check up. We'll see what he says. If I've made it to the next Friday, he'll do another sono to see how big he is and probably induce. I don't want to induce. I just want to go into labor on my own. However, Natasha is a rock star and waited to get her epidural till she was a 6. I can only hope to be as brave as her.
Bye for now...

LITTLE T UPDATE AND NURSERY PICS!!!!!
Below you'll see the hanging colorful balls! We got those at World Market! You can put lights in them, but I got nervous, so we just left them out! :) They are one of my favorite parts of the room!
Here's our inspirations for the room. I found this bedding pretty quick after we found out. It's a pretty modern DWELL STUDIO Transportation theme. I loved the simplicity of it. We didn't really want a theme, but they have kid's bedding for this, so I was going with cost effective here!

35 weeks!

heavy heart..
Peter took the day off from work and is currently napping...beside Charlie. :) There's no place that I'd rather him be right now. We'll be heading over to his aunt's house this afternoon and it will be HARD.
Obviously in the most fragile state possible with a sweet boy on the way, so I was pretty hysterical this morning. I just spoke to her 2 days ago about meeting up next week to play.
Anyways, I have an exciting weekend with Miriam's bach/lingere party tonight and then I have my last baby shower tomorrow evening. There's alot of emotions swirling around.
Went to the doctor this morning....he says I'm still doing great and he sees me delivering before my due date. He will induce on me on my due date if I make it that far. He doesn't believe in going past....PRAISE HIS NAME!
So, pray for Peter's family as this weekend and week will be a rough, emotional one.......

Mango Limeade
I'm officially 33 and half weeks. However, I am consistently measuring a week to week and a half ahead. Like I said in the beginning, I knew my due date was a week sooner. :) So, oddly enough, I am almost 9 months pregnant. Oh the myth of actually just being 9 months pregnant. Try 10 people.
Titus' room is coming along!!! We had a little mishap with the crib last week. We got all excited to put it together and it was missing 3 pieces AND was the wrong color. NICE. Unfortunately, we bought it in Abilene. Scratch that, mom bought it in Abilene. Thanks mom. :) She took it back last week and they immediately gave us a new one! We put it together 2 nights ago and had a real live baby sleep in it last night! Our friends, the Lewis's have a 2 week old and a 1 and half year old and their AC went out last. So, we moved the mattress down and the toddler slept perfectly in it all night long! Thanks for testing it out for us! :)
I bought DREFT today, so I'll be washing his bedding tomorrow and then putting it on. Once we get our chair, which is another nightmare, then I'll start posting pictures of the room. I have some things to hang on the wall and buy. But, that's not quite on the priority list right now due to a broken down car. Let me tell you, when it rains it pours. We've been living the simple life this week in our fridge...but it's been fun.
July 4th came and went. I saw 2 movies. The first two movies that I've seen since becoming pregnant. Unfortunately, I have a rib situation, so sitting in a theater is NOT FUN.
My walking partner gave birth a few weeks ago, so I've been slacking. Luckily I only tipped the scale two pounds last week. My legs are always swollen. They currently feel like tree trunks. So, if I tell someone how much I've gained, they don't believe me. A man thought I was going into labor at Walmart in the chip section today. I was rubbing my rib...it was killing me. I said don't worry, you can keep shopping. :)
Titus continues to move like crazy. I wonder if he will ever slow down. I asked my doctor if it was a sign of the times to come. He just laughed at me. We get to finally have another sonogram in about 3 weeks. That will be the end of my 36th week. I'm assuming I probably won't see much, however, it will be nice to see him again since the last time was week 19!!
I've done a few art projects here in there, however, Peter is concerned about me and paint. For some reason in the past couple of weeks, I've had this ridiculous urge to sniff paint. Weird, I know. I've not followed through with his so called, "craving," but I wouldn't put it past myself. :) hahaa.
I'm not enjoying the heat, per say. I don't go outside if I don't have too. Last night Peter and I went walking for an hour at IKEA. Ahhaa..I need exercise, but refuse to walk outside, even at night right now.
Well, I guess I can stop rambling. Pictures of Titus' room coming soon and maybe a belly. Who knows...
The belly is not the problem, it's all the other body parts that I'm most embarrassed about. :)
Until next time!!!!

TICKER!
31 WEEK BELLY!Thursday, June 04, 2009
He has a name...
And that is what he shall be called. There is no real reason why his first name is Titus. Peter and I chewed on Jackson for a while, but then it just didn't feel right! I panicked. So, what did we do? We went to Barnes and Noble. Ahhaaaa. We grabbed a few baby name books. You know, the ones that say, "1000 Baby Names." We were overwhelmed with the task. we sat there for 2 hour and narrowed it down to Titus and few others. After milling over it for a week and calling him Titus, I decided that was it. Peter loves how strong this name sounds. Someone once said to me, "think of what his name will sound like as a man." So, that is just what we did! However, my friend Angela just told me that they read somewhere that it means "Defender." As they do, I pray that he be a defender of the Truth as Paul was in the book of Titus. Thank you Angela for that!!!! I forgot your little boy was named Titus. His middle name is Garrett, after Peter's oldest brother. He passed away when Peter was in the 3rd grade and we just want to carry on his legacy in the Abrigg family.
Titus, your dad and I are so proud of you already! We cannot wait until you are in our arms. Although scary, we know HE has chosen us as your mother and father and we couldn't be more amazed daily by His grace and greatness! We try to imagine what you will look like. Will you have your dad's dark curls, tan skin, and BEAUTIFUL face, or will you have your mom's fair skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair? Lord willing the first. :) HAHAaa...Just kidding. I've embraced my fair skin these days!
I'm currently listening to Christy Nockel's new album, "Life Light Up." So, powerful! GO GET IT! I always love it when she comes out with a new album. Her voice and her worship is just more than I can take. :) I actually had it blaring while outside while excavating our flower beds. TERRIBLE weeds. We have a party next Saturday night, and I am determined to make it pretty. I have no idea what I am doing.
Anyways, just wanted to announce his name. :) Little T it is. :)

Well...
We had a blast on our "baby moon" this past weekend. We headed out to Lakeway Resort and Spa on Friday around 2ish. We got to Austin in the middle of Friday afternoon traffic. NOT to mention that it was UT graduation weekend. Nice. So, we sat in the parking lot of 35 South forever. We finally got to Peter's cousin's house in South Austin around 6:30pm for a cousin cookout. It just happen to work out that 3 of Peter's cousins were all in town! His brother Kelly also came and joined the partayy. We had some excellent food and some great laughs! I got a glimpse of what motherhood will be like with a bunch of little boys running around. I asked Peter if I could have a margarita and he laughed. We headed to the resort around 10pm, not really knowing where to go. Thank the good Lord for iphones. Perfect directions! We couldn't see much at night, but I knew it would not disappoint! I was checking us in while Peter parked the car and brought our bags in. And, what do you know, here comes Ashlee's , Peter's sister, roommate from college and her husband! I was hoping I wouldn't see them with my pregnant self at the pool later the next day. :) THEN, the next morning, while eating breakfast, I ran into another couple that I knew from ACU. PERFECT! :) Luckily, neither party saw me in my "bikini" 7 months pregnant. Now, if you are judging me for wearing a 2 piece, you can stop now. The tankini's just don't work for this pregnant chest people. It's just plain ridiculous. So, Peter and I had a great time laying out by the pool that overlooked Lake Travis. I was jealous of all the boats driving by! We could even watch them out our balcony. While laying out at the pool "under the umbrella," I sparked up conversation with the girls next to me. And, low and behold, the girl 3 people down from me goes, "Hey, do you sing at the Village?" I was like HOLY COW! I'm wearing a bikini 7 months pregnant!! :) I laughed it off and continued to sit in the shade. Some how, my belly still got sunburned...even in the shade.
Saturday night we headed to Austin to goof around. We ended up at this really awesome Italian joint off of Congress. LUCKILY, Hey Cupcake's trailer was right across the street. If you are live in Austin, hopefully you know about this place!!!
Sunday we headed back into Austin fairly early to eat lunch at one of our longtime friend's from Abilene's restaurant. If you live or are ever in Austin, go to Cuatro's! It was fantastic. If you go, ask for Michael Bocanegra and tell him we sent you!! It's kind of an outdoorsy feel with amazing tacos and hamburgers. They are known as the "place to come watch the game," these days. They actually won best green salsa in Austin this year. I drank the whole bowl myself. We headed to Kelly's house after that to catch up. Unfortunately, I was miserable after lunch. I ate so much that I couldn't breathe!!!! It was hilarious. I just wanted to lay down. We stayed over there for a few hours and then headed back to the resort to hang by the pool for our last hoorah before we left Monday morning.
It was the perfect getaway for Memorial Day weekend!!
Tomorrow, I GET to have my glucose test. I think this baby boy is pressing on my heart, because I am having these CRAAZY heart palpitations this week. Thankfully I go in tomorrow so they can check it out. I hate it. It scares me! 27 weeks on Monday! WHOA!
Peter is working hard and "Little T's" room. Yes, I said Little T. I'm still not announcing his name so don't ask. I'll tell you in person! :) I'm ready for him to finish his part so I can start my decorating! :) But, he's doing alot, so I'm so excited.
Okay, well, I'll try to post some pictures. I'm a cruddy blogger. I was so much better a few years ago.
Bye for now!

Nobody told me...
That starting around 17 weeks I would no longer be comfortable sleeping. Every night is a new adventure. As a matter of fact, last night I took a Tylenol PM so that I could sleep. But, what happened instead was, I woke up to go to the restroom, drunk with a half broken shoulder. Yea, that happens once a night. Luckily, I actually found the toilet. :)
That most of my weight gain would reside in my chest. :) If you know me, you know I PRAYED against this HARD as enough weight already took residence there. :)
That I would have acne like a 16 year old all over my back, arms and chest. Luckily I've only had a few on my face. THANK YOU JESUS.
That my dog would get sick because I took her to Petsmart to get haircut a few weeks ago. Apparently, her kennel cough shot wasn't updated. I was up with her all night and then had to take care of her for 2 days. I cried at the vet, telling them I was bad mom.
That it would be extremely difficult to choose a boy name. :) Luckily we have one and we love it! Sorry blog, I'm not ready to announce it to you yet. We just nailed it down this week.
That if I didn't eat protein for breakfast then I would almost pass out every morning. Learned this one the hard way. Luckily, there was and has been no passing out.
That my doctor's office would call me 6 months into my pregnancy to tell us we owed on our deductible asap. Why didn't they tell me that when I got pregnant? Lucky for them, I'm going to check and see exactly WHO I pay, them or the hospital.
That I would love my husband more today than I have ever before...I can't keep up with my love. :)
That Baby A would move 24 hours a day! Seriously! He doesn't stop!!! As a matter of fact, yesterday at my doctor's appointment, he kept either kicking or punching the heart doppler. My doctor, who really doesn't show much emotion, started laughing.
That my tailbone would hurt after sitting for only 5 minutes...even on a soft, comfy couch. Tailbone, did I break you? No, apparently baby is already resting on it. Weird?
.............................................................................................................................................................
OKAY OKAY...no more complaining! I just think some of these are really funny. On a more serious note, I'm really enjoying this part of my pregnancy. I prayed hard for the Lord to change my heart. To be honest, I hated the first trimester...and a few weeks into the second. I think I might have been a tad bit depressed. I hated that I felt that way, but when you go from healthy as a little lark, to sick as a dog for 3 months....it's hard to think about anything but your misery.
We've been busy getting the nursery ready. We struck out 3 times with paint, and decided on a color we'd used before. HHAA. The first coat is done....
Peter is going to lay some cool floors in there soon, and I can't wait! I'm not going to give it away quite yet!! :) Sorry, sorry. The bed is sitting in a huge box in the hallway, the dresser is still in Abilene and the armoir thing is in the guest bedroom. We've got stuff everywhere prepping. It's funny that we're putting off all of the other projects to do Baby boy's room. :) It's exciting.
Peter and I are taking a little trip this month for a short Baby Moon getaway. As much as we wanted to travel out of state, we felt we wanted to save our money. We promised each other we wouldn't be that couple that didn't travel as soon as baby comes. We love traveling and hope we get to see many more places!
I'm still terrible about taking pictures. Sorry....
Maybe I'll get better soon.
There's that for an update. Hope you took those "pregnancy woes" as funny. I truly am grateful to be carrying this human being in my belly. :) It's a surreal feeling and I'll forever be thankful.
Praying for all of you moms out there and those of you who are having trouble getting pregnant. I pray peace over you this weekend and miracles for all of you.

21 weeks!
Here's a fun project that I did! I found a calender at Paper Source, cut it up, and put it in frames! Antique birds. My mom says she's scared of birds. Oops. So, there you go!!! That took me FOREVER!!!!! I remember why I don't do this very often anymore. My rear is numb and I'm hungry. :)
Hope this tides you over for a while!!
