I am MARRIED! :)

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
As we speak I am typing on Peter and I's new DELL laptop!!! I was so surprised! My parents are quite possibly the most generous people I have ever met. I mean, just a week and a half ago, they provided Peter and I with the most beautiful wedding we could ever have asked for!!!!! If you want to see more pictures go to my myspace. www.myspace.com/moppyca.
Here are just a few pics I decided to put on for just grins. I'll put more on later but I'm quite sick of being on the computer.
We had a blast on our honeymoon to Punta Cana in The Domincan. I brought back a little demon in my tummy....but with several doses of Pepto Bismol I'm already feeling better and getting to enjoy Christmas meals and treats much better!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!!!!!!
I love you all!!
Love,
Molly Abrigg :)

Oh and...thank you for the sweet sweet posts on some of your blogs!! I teared up just a bit reading them!!!!

Sorry No Blog...

Well,

After I finished work on October 27th, the only computer availiable is Rachel's. She's got alot of work on it and it's got a few issues so I never want to touch it unless she's there to monitor me. :) So, my computer skills have been lacking. I miss it......

Well, alot has happened in the last 3 weeks. I've had 3 showers, done my dress fitting, taken more engagement pics. PLEASE REFER TO www.rachelwilksphotograhy.blogspot.com to see them. There are just 5 or 6 pics on her blog but they are awesome! I can't wait to see the rest and get some printed.

I've started running errands for this woman in Highland Park. Last week I did 20 hours in 4 days! I feel like the assistant on The Devil Wear's Prada, but liking it at the same time. I get to go places I would never really go before. So that's exciting!! It will keep me busy up until the wedding....and by the way, is ONE MONTH AND ONE DAY AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! Wow.

This past weekend Peter and I traveled to Wichita Falls for 2 birthday parties. Peter's niece, soon to be my niece Henslee's 2nd birthday party was in the morning. It was a polka dot theme. I wish I had pictures. I know Peter's dad does. I supplied Ashlee, Andrea and I with polka dot shirts. We took some cute pics. I'm excited to have 3 sister's now instead of 2! That's fun times!!
Then in the afternoon was Peyton's 6th birthday party. The theme was camoflauge! It was so fun. All the kids wore camo and played Capture the Flag. Peter administered the game and had a blast! I stayed inside and played with Henslee because I was freezing! :) Then later that evening we all had a relaxing evening at "The New China." haha...it was really good.

This week has already flown by. It's Tuesday? What?! My last dress fitting is on Thursday. My mom is flying in. Oh by the way, I almost passed out during my first dress fitting....I must have had an allery fever and too much Sudafed. It was funny to everyone else but not me. I was scared. :) I of course thought about it the rest of the day/week and freaked myself out. So, pray for me this Thursday for my second fitting. My bridal portrait is scheduled for either Friday or Monday...depending on if my dress is ready! I pray it is. :)
A week from today I will be going to Abilene for Thanksgiving. UNBELIEVABLE! I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! Crazy stuff. So, I'll stay there from Tuesday-Sunday. Then I'll come back and have a week to pack. December 2nd I move into our new apartment......that's another thing, we rented our first apartment. The 753 square foot of fun! Can you believe that I will be living in that small of an apartment. I'm a bit excited about it although Peter and I are going to have to rent a storage unit. That's what happens when you are 26 and 27....too much stuff.
On December 1st, the lingere/bachellorette party is happening!!! CRAZY! I'm really excited about that one!!! So...lots happening between now and then.

I'm crossing my fingers Peter and I get a computer soon. :) Then I will update on all of these festivities. Oh and, I bought a Christmas tree yesterday! :) I was VERY excited. It's going to have to sit in the garage until we move. But, it will be semi the first thing I put up in the new apartamento! :)

So, there's my update. For pictures, check Rachel's blog! :)
BYEEEEE!!

Thursday, October 26, 2006

Well, it's Thursday again. It seems that Thursday is the perfect day to upate the blog.
It might be the last update for a while. Why you say, because tomorrow is my last day here at Mediajuice where the computer is very accessible. I don't have a computer at home. Rachel does, but I rarely mess with it becuase she has so many important things on it. It's slow as Christmas too..no offense Rachel. I've been praying for the Lord to provide for her a computer so that she can work really fast on her pictures!

Anyways, well...let's see.

Last Friday night, me, Peter, Rachel, Craig, Natasha and Thomas decided to take a trip to the State Fair. I had never been so I was pretty pumped. I felt guilty for wanting to go because Peter was so stinking tired! He's so great about being in community though. He desires it as much as I do! Anyways, it was a fun filled night. We were starving when we got there. Peter went straight to get a corn dog and a root beer. Quickly following that stop, I got a turkey leg. It probably weighed a good 5 pounds. I shared it with everyone. I of course was sick of it after about 10 bites. Suprisingly enough, I was full after that. Then we decided to walk towards the rides. None of us wanted to spend the money to ride them but it sure was fun to watch them. I love the fair. I love the carny's too. I think I want to be a carny for Halloween. Peter suggested it and I quickly agreed! :) Anyways, after walking around the rides we decided to go to the barns to see all the animals. I was pretty pumped up about this. I was disappointed at first becuase all I saw were cows laying down. We finally found a barn full of lambs, pigs and such. We saw the 1400 pound pig with the biggest set of....well you know what I'm going to say here. I for sure gave the pig a few scratches on the ear. He was very sweet. Then we found this big fenced in area with every kind of animal known to man. We sat and watched for about 30 minutes laughing our heads off. I felt like there were some inbred animals in there from the things they were doing. There were camels, llamas, billy goats, emus/ostriches, deer?, pony's etc. It was fantastic!! Then we felt the need to find a funnel cake. We searched all over the park for one. Finally we found one. I was full after about 2 bites. What was wrong with me? Peter got a fried snicker's bar. He ate about 2 bites. I'd say we wasted a ton of money on food we didn't eat. I left the park with a box full of peppermint taffy. I've eaten about 3 pieces of it. I wanted it to be soft and well, it was hard! What a disappointment. Overall, I'd say my first State Fair experience was fantastic!!!

Saturday I slept in until around 10. It felt good to sleep in. Then Peter and I made a trip to Baja Fresh for lunch. I had to be at the church for rehearsal at 3:30. I was there until 6:30. I then went over to Peter's for dinner. He made us his favorite meal. Sausage, saurkraut, and salad with mashed potatoes. We then went and rented United 93 and I played with Michael's puppy Bella. She kept biting me and Michael was just yell NO BELLA over and over. It was funny.
I was in bed by 11:15 on Saturday night.

Sunday I sang all 4 services. What a whirlwind of a day. I was exhausted come 9 oclock on Sunday night. I was in bed by 10 not wanting to get up the next morning.

This week has been pretty busy. It's gone by slow because I am excited for this weekend. Tonight after work I'm going to get a manicure/pedicure so I don't look like I live on a farm. Then I need to come home and clean my room while watching my favorite Thursday night TV!!!

The time is coming near

Well, it's getting even closer! One month and 27 days to be exact.
Peter and I just finished our 4th week of Pre-Marrital counseling. I acutally love it and am learning so much about the institute of marriage and the main purpose of it all.
I'm so excited to get to live life with Peter and be under the same roof!
Next weekend we have 2 showers and then the weekend after that we have a shower as well. We/I am going to be so busy writing Thank you's and sorting through gifts.
Tomorrow we're going to look at a condo in a part of town that I love. We've been looking so hard for a condo type place to live instead of your ole' run of the mill apartment! Neither one of us have any desire to live in an apartment. I've been lucky enough to not hae to have lived in apartment type setting since living in Dallas.
BURRRRRRRRRRRRRR. People keep opening the door and my desk is right by the door! It's COLD today! I love it though! Fall is here! Yupeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I think Peter and I will try to go to the State Fair on Friday night if it's not to cold. I haven't been yet and really want to go.

Well, this past weekend we had a great time in Austin. We took a detour and went to this little town called Lorena to do a little antique shopping. I found this breakfast nook that I wanted...it wasn't antique and it definitely wasn't in our price range. It so cool! It was this lime green color that was distressed and had these iron things on the front! I obviously can't describe it well enough. We got to Round Rock and decided to stop at the outlet malls there. Peter and I each came out with 2 shirts from Banana Republic. We spent a good 2 hours there. We had a good time. Then we headed into to town to go pick up Kelly, Peter's brother at his salon. He own's his own salon on Guadaloupe right across the street from UT. After that we went to his house to pick up his fiance' Audrey. We then went to this really awesome Mexican food place. Thank goodness it wasn't crowded because everyone was at the UT/Baylor game. We got finished as soon as everyone was coming in. After that we went back to Kelly's house. He has an incredible backyard so we just sat out there and enjoyed the cool weather. I went to bed before everyone because I'm a loser. Sunday morning everyone woke up late and Audrey cooked us pancakes and eggs. It was really good. After Kelly finally woke up around noon we headed over to the Buffalo Exchange to shop. I left with a pair of shoes that are awesome and Peter came out with a shirt. We are obviously quite the shoppers. If you know me you know this is true about me.

Let's see, tonight I'm going to do my usualy Grey's Anatomy/Ugly Betty watching. I love TV on Thursday nights! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Friday the 27th is my last official day of work. It's going to be a weird feeling...but I'm pretty darn excited about just chillin for a month before the wedding. After we get married I will substitute teach and just concentrate on being a wife. After that, if I am getting bored and feel like I need a REAL job again, then I will seek after that. I'm thinking Peter will just enjoy me being home when he gets there!

Anyways, I'll be a busy bee this weekend. I'm singing all 5 services on Saturday and Sunday so not much of a weekend for me. But, I enjoy serving at the Village and will serve there as long as the Lord allows! :) I love my church.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Thursday. I just ate Chick-fil-a for the 2nd time in 2 days. AWESOME! So, I'm ready to go!!!

Bye for now!

Thursday Entertainment

Name 13 of your favorite TV shows back in the day:

1. Saved by the Bell - doesn't everyone love this show.
2. California Dreams - of course after Saved by the Bell this was on.
3. Full House - TGIF baby!!!!!
4. 90210 - I think that I have watched every single episode.
5. Melrose Place - guilty pleasure.
6. The Smurf's - this was definitely my FAVORITE cartoon for sure.
7. Family Matters - Steve Erkel was so amazing!

And since I can't think of any more here is my favorite now.
8. Grey's Anatomy
9. Ugly Betty
10. America's Next Top Model
11. The Bachelor
12. ET or Access Hollywood
13. Friend's re-runs

Well, here are some hilarious pictures from last Christmas. I don't know what got into us. We found these glasses at a Thrift Store. And, everyone loved it!
I love Thursday's. It means I get to go home after work and watch 3 non-stop hours of TV. IT's the only night I really get to do that. I cherish it for sure.

2 more weeks and then I just chill for a month and 15 days until the wedding. Saturday will be Peter and I's 6 month anniversary! Haa...That means we will be married on our 8 month anniversary. Sweet! That's the way I always pictured it.

Right now I am in the midst of trying to make programs, or better yet come up with an idea for a program. I want it to be simple but a little shabby chic as well.
Invitations will be sent out November 1st. I think I will have those finished this week. I'm done addressing. Now I just have to put them all together. I'll do that during my 3 hours of television.

I got my first shower invitation and it was so cute! I had no doubt in my mind! :) The fun part is about to start!! WOWOWHWOWO!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

Peter and I just commited to go skiing with our counselor and his wife in February! How fun is that!!!!! I haven't been since my senior year of college. So, I'm well past due for a ski trip!! Peter has only been one time. It will be funny trying to watch him be "as good as me." I have years on him in this area, but knowing him he'll school me in this area too. Oh well, it will be a fun experience nonetheless.

Wedding music. That's another thorn in my flesh. I'd like to get this nailed down by the end of the month. I've figured out that I am EXTREMELY too picky. I have 2 songs nailed down and am just trying to choose the others. Sorry guys, this part of the wedding is a secret. Everything else is public knowledge. And, NO I am NOT singing in my own wedding. So, stop asking or thinking it.

This past weekend I went to Six Flags with a few of my friends. The lines were incredibly long which stunk! But, at least it wasn't to hot outside. My legs were cramping after we left. I'm ready to go back when there are NO lines!!!

Well, I'm about done here. Peter and I are going to Austin this weekend to visit his brother and new fiance'. So, that will be fun and exciting. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Exactly 2 months from Sunday until the big day!!!!! If you're confused you can refer to my myspace for my countdown. :)

pics

Well, here are some updated pictures from my life. The first two are from Peter's birthday party earlier in September. 30 of us went to La Hacienda Ranch for some great steak fajitas and then we went dancing. Hilarious...we celebrated Natasha's birthday at the same time...
The next two are from today. I am babysitting Hunter and Becky's puppy. It's 5 weeks old. Hunter had to meet Shane and Shane at A&M and Becky teaches school until 4 something. So, I get to love on this precious puppy. It's momma ran out of milk so they got to have it early. His name is Mr. Beans. Funny! He still can't walk very well, so he looks awkward sitting on my desk.
As we speak he's asleep in his bed next to me. PRECIOUS! Nothing like a puppy....
The last one is of Peter. He's so sweet. I could just stare at him all day long. I do not deserve him at all. Dorky smile. :)
So, that's today for ya!!!!!!

Music

Music is my passion and music is my life. Well, it used to be. It's not anymore but, I do get to enjoy my itunes most of the day and that is awesome. Problem is, I always want to buy a new song! Especially since I am trying to pick my wedding music!! I think I'm being stupid when I say I don't want anything that anyone else has done. Maybe it's because I've sung in over 50 weddings. I know how redundant one song can be. And NO I am not singing at my own wedding.
So, in saying all that, music is on my brain right now. I'm listening to Christina Aguilera right now. She's amazing by the way.

So, my friend Christine is in the hospital. I don't know why, and I'm sad. Speaking of hospitals, Mav and Jay had their baby this week! Peter and I went up to the hospital on Tuesday. She might be one of the prettiest babies that I have ever seen. Hello! Look at her parents! :) Congrats Jay and Mav. I can't wait to see her and actually hold her.

Jobs, my last day here at this job is October 27th. I put in my notice last week. It's just to far. I drive to far and spend 8-530 here, and then have drive drive drive. It's definitely not worth the pay check I am getting. So, subbing is on my list of things to do for the month of November and December. Well half of December anyways. Today is day 76. 76 more days! Boy it's gone by fast. But, if I had to get married today I would cry, why, becuase the left side of my face got attacked by acne. I hate hormones. I yanked myself off the patch last week. It of course was making me ill. So, my body is cussing at me....especially my face!!!! ZITS! I HATE ZITS.

I took the day off yesterday. I slept in until 9, and then ran errand after errand. I then met my mom at my house and we went to lunch at Celebrity Bakery with Peter. I love that place..and the desserts. I treated myself from being so good this week. Then, I came home around 3 and plopped myself in front of the TV and stuffed invitations and such. I ran out of stamps and I haven't even started writing on them yet. But, I do have all my addresses. WHAT A MIRACLE. So, today, I have got to find a chocolate brown pen.
OR, I could just send the envelopes to Sarah or Brittney and have them do it! :) hahahahahaha....no really....ahhahahaahaa.

Anyways, well I guess I should get on payroll. Thank you Jesus for payday.
Happy Friday everyone.

No fun

It's really no fun to write on blogger anymore.
I lost all motivation. :) But, I still faithfully read everyone elses'.
Shoot, that makes me a bad friend huh. Well look here now, I'm blogging. I am sitting at work during the usual 3 o'clock lull time. I just finished with my addresses for the wedding. What a beating. I think addresses and thank you notes will for for sure be the worst part. But, the gifts I will receive, and the people's presence will be worth it! I think I will probably be working here at this job for another month. Then I'm just going to take a couple months off the month before my wedding and the month of December. Then, in January I'll work part-time somewhere near home just to make a little extra money.
That's the problem...I don't know what I will do with the rest of my life. Probably if I were making my normal teacher salary Peter and I would get out of debt this year. He had no debt before I came into his life. Course..it's all good debt. Car will be payed of in a year...and my school loans. I don't have any credit card debt at all. Thank the Lord! Peter has my ring and our honeymoon. Paying that off will take a little bit..and until then 600 dollar 1 bedroom apartment it is! :) That's fine with me. Close quarters it is. The only problem..I won't get to put my awesome new quilt on the guest bedroom! Oh well..that time will come.
Babies...so Andrea congratulations on Little Mason! I can't wait to meet him.
Mav...today or tomorrow little Camden will be in our lives. 2 babies!
And, then Brittney...I guess I'll have to wait until April.

I'm excited about the upcoming showers. I can't believe next weekend will be October! Holy Hannah the time is flying by! I'm so glad! But...I'll enjoy it while it's here. Did I mention I love this weather outside! I have the door propped open to outside today. The breeze has been hitting my face all day! Wondermous!

Well....2 months and 20 days left until the big wedding day! My dress will not be in until the end of October. I went to the bridal store to pick up my veil this weekend. I took a peak at my dress again. Of course it's not MY dress...but it felt nice to look at it again! I'm so ready for it to be here! Then I'll probably have to wait until mid to the end of November to do my bridal portraits! I hope it's not COLD outside! Oh well if it is I guess....

Anyways well...back to work I go. Bye for now.

Long time......no blog

Well, what can I say!
I've been busy, busy busy!!

Where do I start. I guess May huh...
Well I quit my teaching job. Huge blessing in disguise. More on that later.
Let's see, June...
I hung out with Miriam, my old roommate for the first part of June. We played, packed, and just embraced our last few weeks as roommates. In the middle of July, me, and my 2 roommates, Miriam and Rachel, and 2 of our other friends, Natalie and Natasha, took a trip to California. It was an absolute blast!
We went to a wedding in Agoura Hills/Malibu. We spent a day on the beach in Malibu the first day, then took our little car to Newport and stayed at a little on Balboa Island! We parked our car for a couple of days and rented bikes. We rode them to Huntington Beach and back one day and then just all over the island on Balboa. After that we packed our BRIGHT BLUE Impala and had back to Los Angeles. We stayed at hotel on Sunset in order to wake up at 3 am to get in line for THE PRICE IS RIGHT! We did make shirts too! ;) I'll post pics of that if I can figure it out. ;) I'm transitioning computers right now.
We spent from 4am-5pm at CBS studios all for an hour taping of the show with our friend Bob Barker...who looks like he's been in the tanning bed a little to long to be 80 years old! :) We didn't actually get "on" the show but we were in the studio audience. Fun times had by all let me tell you.
We then headed back to Dallas after 6 days of fun!!!
My birthday was June 26th. It was a good time. That weekend Peter and I went to Abilene. I attended a few showers and Peter, "asked my dad for my hand in marriage." over a game of golf. Of course my dad killed Peter in the golf game, but that's neither here nor there. The night of my birthday all my friends took me to eat at Bucca di Beppo. It was good times. Then.....

Thursday June 29th, Peter Abrigg proposed to me! It happened on the top of Southside on Lamar over-looking downtown. That boy had tricks up his sleeves all day I'll tell you. It was absolutely perfect. The very next morning at 5 am to be exact Peter and I drove to Wichita Falls to meet his family for their family reunion in Colorado. We suprised them that morning with the news!! Then, on to Durango, Colorado with most of Peter's family for a solid week! It was beautiful and a great way to celebrate our engagement.

When we returned, I started a new job on July 10th at Mediajuice Studios, ltd., working as an assistant to the President, who is my friend. I do, well you name it and I do it. It will be a good change for now. I'm just thankful that I am not teaching at this point in my life. Due to the fact that I am getting married on December 15th, is a good reason not to jump into a new career. So, thank you Lord for providing this interim job for the next year for me. Who knows that will happen after that.

Other than that, I've been to Mexico. Me and about 7 of my friends drove Miriam down to Reynosa, Mexico where she will be living for the next couple of years to teach school. We stopped by Harlingen to stay with Natalie's family and then played at South Padre Island too! IT was a long weekend. We travled 10 hours on Friday and 10 hours on Sunday! Crazy..I'll say! :)

Oh and, Rachel and I moved. That was an ordeal, but I am thankful to be out of the loft for now!!!!!! Things are changing rapidly around here but I'm so very excited I just can't stand it.

I guess I should probably get back to work. I'll try to post pics.
You can always go to www.myspace.com/moppyca and look at some recent pics.

There I updated !:)

MY CAR

MY CAR IS NOT TOTALLED! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Memorable Weekend? What?

Well, where do I start. Okay, I'll go back to last Thursday.
Thursday: I woke up feeling AWFUL. I felt like my whole body had been hit by a train, twice. I was really dizzy. So, I took a bath, thinking I just needed to wake up. No, that didn't work. So, I called in sick to school, they were NOT nice about it. I laid on the couch in tears. I knew I had fever because I was freezing, so I mustered up the energy to eat a piece of bread and take some tylenol. I fell back asleep and seemed to have been feeling better, but I stayed on the couch. Peter brought me some soup from Jason's Deli, and I fell asleep on his shoulder, and when I woke up he was gone. How sad!
Friday: I woke up early enough to get ready. I had a big day ahead of me. I had been preparing for our 8th grade dance for weeks now. They had put me in charge of the food committee. Everything was taken care of, it was just a matter of putting it all together. So, I got to school, still feeling horrible. I managed to dry my hair and put on a dress. I was sitting at my desk trying to focus, when another teacher came in. She said I looked horrible and my eyes were glassed over. SO, I went to the nurse, and well, she took my temperature, and low and behold, 102.6. WOW! So, I went into the office, told them what was wrong, and they got teachers to cover my class immediately. I mustered up enough energy to go to the doctor. THey got me in pretty quick thank the Lord. She said I had white puss pockets all over my throat...which I thought was weird, because I didn't feel them. She gave me a strep test....I dont' get the results back for that until today. Interesting...I'm already better. So, viral tonsolitis it is.
Well, on my way home from the doctor's office, I totaled my car on 35. I rearended the dude in front of me who decided he'd slam on his brakes. Well, there you have it. I'm in a sweet rent car though.
I was in bed pretty much the rest of the weekend. I finally got up and went to church on Sunday night. I felt really good!

Well, yesterday, Peter and I went to the Allen outlet malls. The boy got a TON of new work clothes...since he just got a promotion to the main office!
Here, I am today, finishing up my last week of school.
Kinda of speechless about that.
Hope all my teacher friends are having fun right now! :)

Wednesday

Well, you can read Sarah's blog to find out details from our New York trip! It was so stinking fun, although, I'm utterly exhausted still today. This week has gone by really slow. Monday, school all day. Tuesday, school all day and small group last night. Today, school all day followed by shopping for the 8th grade dance and a friend's birthday party. Tomorrow night I finally have nothing to do. Which is good because I have to pack for my Memorial Day weekend. I'm going to float the river with a bunch of friends! It should be a blast! Maybe I can catch up on my rest while I'm there. I hope so, because really, I don't think I can function any longer like this. Rachel took this picture of Peter and I a couple of weeks ago. We were just sitting in a chair and she asked us to turn and around....and look how it turned out. I realize it looks like an engagment picture and I'll go ahead and apologize for that one. No it's not. :)
I hope that everyone has a great hump day. I have to be here with kids who steal things out off my desk. uGHGHGH!!! 5 more days with kids.

MOST FAITHFUL BLOGGER AWARD GOES TO........

MOLLY CARRIGAN!!!!! Woooooooohooo!
yea, I'm definitely the most faithful blogger out there these days. Some of you, my so-called blogger friends are having a hard time updating your blog! :) Aheeeemm, Brittney! :)

Well, the concert was great. The kids had a great time. We had appearances from Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Amanda Perez, Kari Underwood, and many others.
Thanks to my DJ, the concert was a blast for everyone. I didn't have to hardly anything although my shoulders were so tense after leaving. Peter was the only faithful friend who attended. I think my vice-principal freaked him out. She went up and sat right next to him on purpose just to spark conversation. She told him that I was her favorite teacher at Bowie. Excuse me while my head explodes.
Peter and I went to Eatzi's for dinner last night! It was beautiful outside so we sat out there and enjoyed the gay community on Oaklawn...no really. :) It was funny watching people come in and out of the place..flaunting it...male and female alike! We got some good laughs.

Later last night, I got a phone call from Leigh Ann telling me that our friend Wade Scoggins, from high school died in a car accident yesterday. Peter and I just kind of sat there and stared at each other for a while, not really knowing what to say. It's really weird to think about. Peter will most likely go to the funeral...I can't becuase I'm going to NYC. Assuming it's later on in the week or weekend.

Speaking of New York...2 more days. I leave Thursday morning! I'm starting to think about finishing my laundry and packing! I cannot believe it's already here.
So many requests between Sarah and I for us to bring back purses. Geez Louize! :)

When I get back next week I'll be working diligently to finalize everything for our 8th grade dance. I'm in charge of the food! Then off to New Braunfels/San Antonio/Austin area to float the river with a bunch of people from the church! I'm so excited!!!!!!!! But, New York is my first priority. Sorry Brittney for mentioning it on my blog. I need to keep you updated on my life...

I woke up this morning so tired. I think I just hit a wall after yesterday. I never realize how worn out I am after a choir concert. I left the house at 7:30 yesterday morning and didn't get home until almost 10. Whew...what a day!
Side note: why do we shave our legs when it's like 20 degrees inside the school building!? what's the point. I don't know.

So, hopefully next week I'll have some pictures to post for everyone! Right now, I don't have any. Rachel, my roommate took one of Peter and I on Sunday. She's an incredible photographer. She's going to send it to me later on this week. Maybe I'll post it. Happy Tuesday everyone....i'm out of things to say.

LAST CHOIR CONCERT!!!

of the year....and maybe for a good while. we'll see what the Lord leads or wills for my life this next coming year.
it has been an extremely busy day today. it flew by in fact! i love days that fly by. except tonight, i have my last choir concert of the year. i'm not going to lie, i almost teared up in my 4th period today because they were doing so good and were so excited. what am i thinking? i'm tired of middle schoolers! right??! ugh..;)

i had a pretty busy weekend. i drove to abilene right after school on friday and arrived there around 7. my mom had cooked chicken enchiladas for my sister and i! they were so good. after that, we just goofed around and sat and talked. then, my sister and i both were out cold at around 9pm. i slept until around 9....got up to the smell of chocolate chip muffins and coffee. had my share and headed to the salon. my appointment was at 10. i didn't leave there until 1:30. i always have to block out most of the day with nicole because she usually just fits me in between 3 or 4 customers. i know i'm ridiculous, but i'm a valued customer and i refuse to let anyone else cut my hair in dallas. so, after i lef there i went to the mall to meet my sister and my mom. we stayed there for about an hour and then came home. my sister and i spent a good chunk of time downloading songs on our ipod with the 2 dogs and my dad hanging out on the bed. they are hilarious. at around 4 i headed back to dallas.

i met peter at my house at around 7:30 and we met rachel and craig for dinner at chuy's. there was no wait at 830 on a saturday night! i couldn't believe it!!! it was weird. after dinner we walked over to starbucks. on our way back to the car peter and i ran into chuck haddox and his girlfriend. let me just say, BLAST FROM THE PAST. it was good to see him and catch up. i think he was pretty baffled to see peter and i holding hands. we just laughed about it...and so did he and said that's awesome! peter and chuck exchanged numbers and we were on our way. we went back to the loft and miriam, natasha and thomas came over. we all hung out until well after midnight.

sunday, i woke up at 10, did some laundry, watched some tv and took a shower. i had to be in ft. worth to sing at wedding at 5 so i left around 2ish. we had to set up and practice before the wedding. i got a little chunk of spending money for my new york trip..of which I LEAVE THURSDAY! holy cow. i need to get past tonight and then i can think about it....

so, tonight...choir concert. i'll let you know how everything goes...i'll give you the line up tomorrow. i'm sure we'll be having ourselves a little free time this week. aheeem. i've got things to do for my days off thursday and friday!!
peace out and happy monday!

The TOLLWAY

We have a love/hate relationship. The Tollway and I that is.
On one hand, it's a quick get-away to Frisco or the galleria and well, to Peter's place.
On the other hand, it's a camping ground for the State Trooper. If I'm ever driving during the evening, I always see people pulled over. Well, I became one of those "people' last night at around 11 oclock. I was looking down at my ipod changing the song, and then, well, looked up and in my rear view mirror and there he was right behind me with his lights on. Of course an obsenity came out of my mouth. I was going with the normal flow of traffic. Everyone around me was going at least 70. Now, I realize, there is no justification of me speeding, when it was 55mph, but come on! Give me a break! Who goes 55 on the Tollway?!?!? I never have...until now. I got a ticket from a ruthless state patrolman.
TROOPER: Ms, did you know you were going 70 in a 55?
ME: Before he could finish his sentence, Yes sir.
TROOPER: Can I have your license and registration?
ME: In his hands before he could finish.
TROOPER: Is this your correct address? Abilene?
ME: No sir.
TROOPER: What is your current address?
ME: spouting off address.
TROOPER: Why is your license not updated?
ME: Because I've moved every year in the past 6.
TROOPER: Takes my license and goes back to his car.
ME: Scouling and waiting a good 5 minutes before he comes back. Thinking of some scheme to get me out of the ticket. Thinking to myself, I hate the tollway.
TROOPER: Asks me for my new address, asks me to sign my sitation. Says please drive safe.
ME: Thank you, while rolling up the window and quickly driving away. Wishing I would have said something like, "do you realize that everyone goes 70 on the tollway, and why don't you stop people during the day? Dang you."

So, there's my story. I got a ticket. I hate speeding tickets. He gave me a "warning" for my license being wrong. Now, I'm moving in 2 months. DO I update my license now? Or wait? Hmm..........

oh the blog.

Honesty....has become my life in the past 6 months. I want to walk in complete truth and complete honesty within anyone who comes along my path. I want to glorify the Lord in all areas of my life, and if that includes the hard parts, AMEN, I want to shout it out from the rooftops!!!

I don't claim to be perfect, and I don't claim to have all the answers. What I do know, is that the Lord has created this amazing walk of life for me, and I am embracing it with open arms. I never thought I'd be dealing with some of the things that have come up lately, but He will not give me anything that I can't handle. More than anything, I am amazed at how He has had His hand over my precious life. I never would have thought that He would lead me down this path, and yet, it's one of the most amazing paths ever, becuase I KNOW I have to trust Him. I should be scared, I should be apprehensive, I should have questions, but I don't. Why, because I trust Him, and I remain falling at His feet daily and let Him have complete control over my life.

For those of you who don't know, Peter, the sweet boy in my life, has been married before. I don't claim to ever be able to wrap my arms around what Peter and his ex-wife went through. But, what I do know, is He took the steps to hang up His dirty laundry and heal, be restored, and walk in truth and forgiveness. It is such a picture of the Lord's faithfulness over a child's life. It has been amazing watching him this past year be molded into Christ's likeness. It has been amazing watching Him heal through counseling, through Celebrate Recovery, and many other things. It has been amazing watching him finally be free of all that was bottled up inside. He has taught me to walk in truth and walk in honesty. I tell him all the time I just want to follow him around and watch the Lord work in His life. He is an amazing man of God, and I know that he knows we can't do this alone. It's been so cool the support we have had from all of our family and our friends, and really we are only dating. But, to watch everyone embrace this with open arms baffles me!!!!!
I cannot live my life wondering why it all happened. I don't wonder...because it was the Lord's perfect will for their lives. Besides, he's here now, and that's all I know. I will take it one day at a time, and simply trust the Lord and let him lead us......
So, for those of you who are asking questions like, "what happened to his ex-wife" on my blog, there is no need to give details, because it is not my business to....
But, if you are concerned, rest easy, that I know the Lord is in control, and I know He's had his hand over my life for the past 26 years.....and brought me to this point! I cannot question His will for my life, I can only embrace it and learn and develop into the woman of God he desires me to be, with or without Peter in my life.
As for now, I'll keep him around, but I'll hold him at an arm's length, knowing He is not mine, He is the Lord's....and I will pray for His will daily for both of us.....

The end. Sorry for the deepness...

This silly boy bought me flowers and had them sent to my school!!! I mean what a feeling to have them bring flower's into your classroom! The last time that happened was my first year of teaching, the first week of school from my parents!! I so don't deserve this boy in my life. Just this morning, I copped an attitude with him on the phone because he's really busy this week. He has something every single night and I leave on Friday to go out of town. So the selfish person in me decided to pout an d let him know about it!! Then I realized that I am undeserving of someone like him!. Yesterday I gave my letter of resignation....and so that is why he sent them to me. Yes, I'm sure you're all wondering why in the world I woudl do such a thing. It's time. I know I need to finish out the year and move on. It's a good thing I get paid through August, because I do not have a job right. There are options in the midst, but I'm unsure of both of them. So, well, that's all I have today. Pretty speechless..

OH FFFRRRRIIIIDDAAYYY

Sadly enough I really do not have a weekend. Dangit!
By the way, Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! :)

Last night, I went to dinner at an awesome mexican restaurant with Leigh Ann. And might I mention that they had FREE margaritas. Yes, you heard it...free...apparently they don't have their liquor license. Problem was, we decided to hit up North Park Mall after! Have any of you been to this mall lately? I almost started crying it was so cool! Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 were RIGHT NEXT DOOR....not to mention they were both 2 STORY!!! Leigh Ann and I were giggling like 2 school girls. Not the best place to go after stuffing your face and drinking 2 margaritas. I know I know..drunkard Molly. I don't do alcohol very well and it's been a while since I have had any. I was laughing at myself....
Speaking of that, our police officer came in to the lounge during lunch with these "beer goggles" that he was using to have the kids walk a straight line during one of his NO DRINKing shpeels. All the teachers were putting them on and trying to walk. I really felt like I was going to throw up I was so dizzy.....funny side note.
So, anyways, last night...I just spent 100 dollars. But, got like 12 things. Ridiculous I know.
Today during my 6th period boys choir I busted out the video camera and started videoing all the boys for fun. I laughed watching them....and can't wait to show my roommates the day and the life of my 6th period.

Tonight we're going to dinner and a movie....some peeps and I....not sure where we are going, but I think we will go to Fireside Pies! Amazing food I'll say..and I'm sure we'll have to wait at least an hour there.
Tomorrow I have to be up early to work the Irving ISD job fair. I was put on an interview team. I'm not sure why...but I'll roll with it.
Then tomorrow n ight I'm cooking for Peter. I'm trying out a new recipe, so pray for me. hahaha...
Then SUnday, singing again...so I have to get up at 5:30...and go all day. We have a Road Rules reunion in the afternoon, so I know I won't even be home until after 9. Yikes.
I hope everyone has a restful weekend...because I sure won't.

Peace out.

What I love about Thursday!

Well,
I'm a tad bit on the tired side today. Partly becuase I was up until 1 am. I took my kids to the Ranger's Game last night and didn't walk into my door until almost 11. And, too my surprise found 5 extra people hanging out in my apartment. One of which was Peter, and I was not at all upset that he was there! I was surprised actually! It was a great ending to a long, hard day. So, of course we all stayed up and giggled....until almost midnight and Peter stayed a little bit longer. I was literally sleeping while I was standing up talking to him. It was hilarious. I asked him what all I said to him last night and he just laughed. He told me that I get sweet when I'm sleepy, which means, I'm not sweet when I'm not sleepy! hahha....hilarious.

So, today doesn't feel like Thursday at all.
At the ballpark last night, it was dollar hot dog night. And, well, I don't normally ever eat hot dogs, but I ate 2 and french fries. I can feel my butt jiggling even more today. Oh dear Lord! (I think I'm losing circulation quicker these days because I can't cross my legs without one of them going numb. Sorry for the rabbit trail)
Anyways, so the Ranger Game was fun I guess.....

Tonight I'm going to dinner with Leigh Ann. I'm excited. I haven't seen her since her wedding, which was only a month and half ago. So, we should have fun times I'm sure.
I'll update tomorrow about what my weekend plans are..........
Peace in the Middle East.

And, CONGRATS to Jay and Mav Ocheskey and finding out that they are having a girl! Camden! So sweet............
Oh and what I love about Thursday's....hmmmm, only thing I can think of today is that tomorrow is Friday.

FASCINATION....

I am unbelievably fascinated by this story. My roommates and I watched a similar story on TLC on Monday night. Seriously, we sat there with our jaws dropped. I don't know how someone could get to this point......enjoy.

ROME (Reuters) - A Mexican man who at 550 kg (1,200 lb) is possibly the heaviest person in the world hopes to travel to Italy for a life-saving operation to shed weight.
Manuel Uribe, bedridden for the past five years, cannot stand on his own and will need a special flight to take him from Monterrey, Mexico to Modena, where a surgical team has offered to perform an intestinal bypass free of charge.
"I can't walk. I'm can't leave my bed," the 40-year-old Uribe, who weighs the same as five baby elephants, said in a recent telephone interview.
"I'm trying to reduce my weight a bit right now so I can be in the right condition for the operation."
Uribe made an impassioned plea for help earlier this year on Mexican television, saying he weighed a more normal 130 kg (290 lb) until aged 22 and did not know what happened to him.
The broadcast drew the attention of doctor Giancarlo De Bernardinis, who visited Mexico with a medical team to examine Uribe in March.
Bernardinis, whose biggest patient to date weighed 350 kg (770 lb), told Reuters he plans a gall bladder, intestinal bypass procedure that will allow Uribe to pass food more quickly without so many calories being absorbed.
Bernardinis planned to perform the surgery in Modena as early as this month, although a Mexican health official doubted Uribe would be ready for a trip to Europe that quickly.
MEDICAL MYSTERY
Uribe's case puzzles doctors since his cholesterol and blood-sugar levels are normal, despite his extreme obesity.
"His heart works very well. He has some respiratory difficulty because of his obesity, but in strict terms, he's well," said Marco Anibal Rodriguez Vargas, the director of hospitals in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.
Rodriguez Vargas said Mexican hospitals still hoped to treat Uribe themselves, but added Uribe would ultimately decide what to do.
Uribe said it was just a matter of time before he went to Italy: "Are we going? Yes. We're going. But the doctors will decide when."
The operation would last four to five hours and would likely require Uribe to spend one month in Italy.
"He will always be heavier than normal but certainly not like he is now ... We would be satisfied even if he weighed 150 kg (330 lb) after two years," Bernardinis said.
No one has managed to find suitable scales for Uribe in years and estimates of his weight are made partly by tape-measure. Guinness World Records 2006 only said it was aware of living people weighing over 508 kg (1,120 lb).
The record for the heaviest man ever is held by Jon Brower Minnoch, who died in Seattle in 1983 after reaching a record 635 kg (1,400 lb). He was in his early 40s.
Uribe hopes to avoid that fate. His wife, horrified by his increasing size, feared the worst and abandoned him more than a decade ago.
"She left me because she must have thought I was dying," Uribe said.
"Thank God, I'm still alive and hopefully will be able to take care of this problem."

My Monday!!!!

Was FANTASTICAL!
Is that a word? Probably not but I don't care.

Well, here is a recap of my weekend.....
Friday night....

I stayed here at school to judge the talent show until 6 oclock. I didn't stay for the school dance because I had alot to do before Miriam's little birthday party at our house. Peter met me at Southside and then we went to Central Market, my FAVORITE GROCERY STORE ON THE PLANET! We shopped through and got our fresh strawberries, bananas, graham crackers and marshmellows for our chocolate fondue pot. Then Peter and I both made our own individual salads and we got salmon fromt he meat place! Yummy to my tummy!
We then came back to Southside and ate our dinner with Mirm, Rach, Craig and Natalie. Then Natasha and Thomas and a few other girls along with Paul came to celebrate the occasion. We just sat in the living room and talked. You girls from Abilene will appreciate the fact that Michael Bocenegra and Jesse Sharp found me on my space! I freaked out, and well so did they! SO, that was a cool connection for the evening. I actually got up and went to bed at 11 leaving everyone still the living room.
Saturday:
I woke up at around 10..showered and drove to McKinney. Peter fed me Subway for lunch and then me, and 8 guys helped him and Michael move to Michael's sweet new townhome in Frisco! I unpacked the kitchen with Michael's daughter McKenna all day. She's in 5th grade and acts about 80 times more mature than I ever did when I was in 5th grade. It took forever to unpack the kitchen. Then Michael, Peter, Mckenna and I went to Campisi's for dinner. Then I helped Peter unpack his room, the McKenna and then Michael. Then we all sat down to watch a movie. I was almost asleep so I decided to leave at like 11. What a long day.
Sunday:
I woke up aroudn 7:30 and went to church for the 9 service. After that, I met Peter at IKEA. Talk about an overwhelming place...we only stayed for 30 minutes because we met Jason and Mallory Krieger for lunch at a place called Christina's. Nothing like margarita's and mexican food! YUMMY! Then we drove out to LIttle Elm to their house and just sat and watched TV...and napped while Mallory cooked us brownies. It was a great Sunday afternoon. Then about 5 Peter took me to my car and I drove home for a few hours. We then went to Thomas house and watched Memoirs of Geisha with him and Natasha. It was a really good movie..

Monday: MY DAY OFF.
I woke up at 9...took my time getting ready and then met Peter at Cafe Brazil in Richardson for lunch at 11:30. Then I went to Mockingbird Station to shop, followed by home, laundry, a good 2 hour nap, dinner, more laundry and some tv with the roommates followed by MORE LAUNDRY! Geez Louise...but I got most of it done! :)

Right now, it's advisory...which means only 1 class period left to go. Thank you Jesus. It's been a pretty good pseudo Monday. I have small group tonight and before that I will probably do a little hot-tubbing with Natalie...or maybe I'll start working out. Hmm, we'll see.

HOpe everyone had a great weekend! I sure did!!!!!!
16 and half days until NEW YORK! WOOHOO!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! Well, it's interesting around Bowie Middle School today. The buzz of the school dance is in the air! The kids are soooo excited. All the girl's intentionally and purposefully straighten/curled their hair. I actually fixed mine last night for an event I went to at my friend's store. So, this morning, all I did was wake up..oddly enough, I didn't even brush my hair. I'm really itchy today. I'm not sure why....the kids keep asking me what I did different, and then I assure them that I did nothing. I only fixed my hair. It's amazing what happens when you fix your hair. Last night was so much fun...I'll write about that in detail at a later date....but, I had to get all shi-shied up....I had to mingle with the wealthy...let me tell you! It was cool though....Anyways HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!! I'm taking Monday off. I'm done with school until Tuesday! Until then...peace out..

And here we are trying to take a picture with all 4 of us. Poor Rachel was missing....I don't know where she was.......So, here is my post for the day.
or shall I say LAtasha. I accidentally called her that last night as we were making dinner. We laughed for like 15 minutes about it. She's got more names than anyone!
Natasha and I before we went to the drive in the other night....being as silly as we possibly could.
I just think this picture is really sweet. This was actually over a month ago. A bunch of us were about to go to Gilley's. We're both definitley not trying to hide the fact that we like each other. Well, I'm hiding it, but he's not! :)
I thought this picture was hilarious. These are more cousins, Rex and Rob. Rex, the one in the REd shirt goes to TECH, and Rob, is in high school at Sweetwater High! They were being silly. THis is Easter weekend as well.
me and my cousin Jonathon. He always picks on me and hits me as if I'm his sister. He's about to be a police officer in San Angelo, and my favorite part about him is the fact that he is a BOUNCER at a club there. How hilarious is that?!?!?!? Oh me, oh my...

Wednesday's

Why are Wednesday's so hard? You have half the week behind you, but you still have 2 whole days left to go before the weekend!! I'm sitting here yawning as I type. It's been a hard day. My kids don't know how to be quiet, much less be respectful. So, I've had to fight with that all day.

I walked into school at 8:20 this morning. I'm supposed to be there at 7:45. I normally can get away with it because I have 1st period off. Today, I just didn't care. I took my dear old time getting ready, and decided to treat myself with some coffee from our coffee shop in Southside.! I was so glad I did it.
I also have to stay here until 5 today and that is annoying. I GET to listen to kids try out for our spring show. Should be an interesting afternoon to say the least.

I'm tired, and cranky, and highly annoyed with my job. The End. Sorry for the DEBBIE DOWNER!

Tuesday, April 25, 2006

And Sally.....Belle wouldn't let me take a picture with her.
couldn't leave an updated picture of carly out..
Is this awkward that I'm already in the family picture holding the family dog...probably, but considering, I have done my share of house sitting for "Taz" in college, I think we're cool. Unbelieveable. (Peter's Dad, P-diddy, Me and Taz, Ashlee and Henslee, Scott, Andrea, Peter's mom, and Scott's parents.) Don't make fun of me for posting this please.
My top lip apparently was dry, and so it was really high up where you could see my gums. I think it's funny......
Me, Peyton (Gaige refused to be in the picture), Peter and Andrea (Peter's sister and the boy's mom.)
Peyton, Peter's nephew and I on Kite Day. He thinks I'm the coolest thing to walk the planet....besides Uncle Peter of course.
Kite Day! Can you tell what kind of kite this is??????

i heart them. (insert Brittney Poe)
Peter and I....I look like a dork....I always look like a dork....

ok THOMPSON!

This one is for you! :)

So, I don't really have any updates, except for the fact that today is FRIDAY! And, as I'm sitting here, some darn kid just threw something in my room. Everyone is at lunch, and I'm enjoying the end of my 2 hour lunch break! Today and yesterday, because of TAKS, I didn't have a 4th period because my 8th graders were in their testing room. It was definitley a suprise to me. But, I've totally taken advantage and just worked my little hiney off. On what you say?
Well, I'm speaking at Brittney's little girl's retreat in the morning. The title of the weekend is "KNOWN" and my top is "Stand For." Really, purity..and just my testimony. It's been an amazing week digging into the word and reading and just really trusting the Lord on what I'm supposed to say tomorrow. I'm so excited now! Oddly enough, the Lord's timing is perfect.

And, for those of you who think that I've spent countless hours with Peter this week, well you're wrong. I haven't seen him since MONDAY. So, definitely excited about our double date with Thomas and Natasha. We're all pretty close so it will be really fun! I have to be in bed early though to rest up for the morning.

This week has been pretty eventless. Monday night Peter came over, brought me La Madeline for dinner. We sat with Mirm and Rach and ate. It was a fun family night. Then Jeremy came over. So, Jeremy and Miriam watched me clean my room while Peter was upstairs working out. I love my friends so much.
Tuesday, me, Natalie, Natasha and Mirm went on a POWER walk around American Airlines. I still have some shin spints today. Need I mention that it was 100 degrees outside when we went. We then had small group. I couldn't keep my eyes open. Probably because I got no sleep over the weekend and went to bed after midnight on Monday night.
Wednesday I went to the grocery store. I cooked taco salad for Mirm and Rachel and I. My friend REbekah came over and we had some pillow talk. I love her. Then, off to the bath tub...too long of a phone conversation with P-diddy and then to bed.
Last night, I got home and took about an hour nap. Then I ate dinner and chit chatted with Rachel. Then 2 hours worth of phone time with Peter and my friend Laura Berg. Then, I had to clean the kitchen. I deep cleaned that bad boy and it took me an hour! Then I finished my laundry and tried to go to bed...but ended up on the phone after my bath again. I finally feel asleep about 11:15.
Here we are to today...I'm wearing my new northface fleece because it's below 0 in my room!!! Dressed for winter in almost May! Might I also mention it is Filthy Friday..meaning I didn't wash this grease bucket of a head! Woohooo!

This weekend is going to be busy. No time to really rest. Tomorrow after Brittney's deal, I'm going to hang out with Peter and his mom and his sister and nephews. We're supposed to think of something fun to keep them occupied..and then tomorrow night the gang is getting together. who knows what we will do! I'm excited because I love my community. I do have to be up at 5:30am on Sunday morning for rehearsal at the Village, followed by 4 services. Sunday afternoon I will probably finish my resume and send it off to their respected places. Don't ask me I'm not telling anyone yet! :) IT's really awesome!!!!!!!!! The Lord's favor over me has really shown in the last week and I am so unworthy of it.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
3 and half weeks until NYC!!!!!!!!!!!! That was for you Sarah T. :) hahahahahha....

Wednesday, April 19, 2006

i realize this picture is a little cheeze ball...my friend Mallory sent it to me...she was the photographer at Leigh Ann's wedding....she calls this GQ Peter.
Here's another picture....
This is Peter......
