Peter got some new Chanel glasses. Kidding, they are mine.

Amazing. A Canal Street purchase....

They almost have the siding up. The top and middle will be different colors of khaki/army green and then the bottom will be stone. We got some doors and windows.
And, I met the new puppy that lives across the street.

I love the cedar pillars.

We've had a great week. The doctor I work for is headed to one of the other offices. So, I've been getting used to a new doctor today and tomorrow. Praise the Lord for no patients on Friday afternoon. A half a day extra vacation! :)

Headed to the parents house on Sunday. We will celebrate with both families! I love being married. ;) Keep the Christ in Christmas MOLLY! Geezzzzzz...

We watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation last night. Let me take that back. Everyone else watched it and I fell asleep. I'm sure everyone was glad though because I was quoting every line.

It looks like we'll be moving in to our new home in the middle of February. I have had some pretty major anxiety this week over it. Peter and I both. Huge step and trying to trust the Lord with every move we make. (I know you're secretly busting in to the song right now. If you don't know what it is, disregard.)

Anyways, I don't have much else to say today. Hope everyone has safe travels over the weekend. It doesn't really feel like Christmas yet.

The End.

ONE YEAR of Wedded Bliss...

Peter and I had a fantastic weekend celebrating our anniversary.
Friday night he surprised me with a night's stay at The Omni right near our home. We ate dinner at a very nice restaurant in the hotel. We talked about the events of the last year and thanked the Lord for an easy first year together. It really has been so easy. We enjoyed HD TV in the hotel and went to bed early.
Saturday we woke up around 8 and headed to Corner Bakery for breakfast. We had to hurry because Peter surprised me again with a manicure and pedicure at the Coldwater Creek Salon in Southlake. Let me just tell you....the pedicure that I received might have been the most RELAXING thing in the whole entire world. They put me in this reclining chair that fit perfectly with the contour of my body, covered me with blankets, put a hot wrap around my neck and covered my eyes. I was OUT in a matter of minutes! I didn't have a clue what she was doing except when she wrapped my legs and feet with these warm gushy things. It was wonderful. She had to wake me up when she was finished to do my nails. Thank you Peter!!!
So, with pretty pink toes and manicured nails, I was ready to go. Afterall, it takes an act of congress for me to keep my toenails presentable on a daily basis. No, I don't try very hard.
Then Peter worked on the house most of the day. We headed to church and then to see Will Smith's new movie "I am Legend.' I laughed most of the movie from being scared or watching Peter LEAP out of his seat on SEVERAL occasions. We'd never seen a scary movie together. We RAN to the car after it was over (because if was freezing and maybe the rabbies infected people might get us.) We headed home. Well, home to Natasha and Thomas's. :)
Sunday was a whirwind of a day. My mom and dad flew INTO Dallas at 6:30am. They met us at the house at 7 and we headed over to Ham and Eggs for a HUGE breakfast. We filled up 3 to go boxes for Thomas and Natasha. The poncakes were the size of a wheel on a car. No lie.
Then we drove around and looked at the house and picked up my sister. We went to Southlake, but nothing was really open yet. So, we hit Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrell. Peter and I dreamed of what we will put in our future home. And let me tell, it WON'T be Pottery Barn. What'll I do, is I'll look for Pottery Barn LOOK-A-LIKES FOR CHEAP!!! YESS!!!
We then headed to LUNCH. Didn't we just eat breakfast? It was time to MEET THE FOCKER'S. Yup, we met my sister's fiance's family. It was a good time at Hard Eight Barbeque. I took my parents shopping for a little while after, but had to head home to cook Hashed Brown Potatoe Casserole and Banana Pudding for our Small Group Christmas party last night. We had a White Elephant Ornament exchange. It was good times. But, I was T-I-R-E-D. So, I hit the hay around 10.
MAN, my hands are tired! ;

THE DAY WE BECAME HUSBAND AND WIFE! PRAISE THE LORRRRRRRDDDDDD!!!!!!!!

WE ATE THE CAKE TOPPER ON OUR ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY. WE KNEW IT WOULD TASTE BETTER! :_)

Peter always has been the man my soul longed for! I never believed it would happen in high school, but, well, the Lord never ceases to amaze me in the story He made for us. If you know us personally, then YOU KNOW the Lord had His hand all over this story! His story!
I am so thankful that I have gotten to do life with this man for the past year and 7 months. I still have that twinkle in my eye when I look at him. CHEESEBALL I KNOW. But, they always say, the longer you are married, the better it gets! He truly is my best friend. I am so proud of who He is in the Lord and what He has and is doing in Peter's heart and our marriage. Afterall, if we tried to do it by ourselves, well, that's neither here nor there. I won't get cheesy for the blog world, but I truely Love this man.
Thank you Lord for letting me do life alongside of Peter Eugene Abrigg.

Happy First Anniversary Peter!

Well, tomorrow we celebrate our 1st year of marriage?! What? I can hardly believe it!!
All I know is I'm supposed to pack a bag. He's going something planned for us.
Little stinker! New York was supposed to be our gift to each other. Apparently, that's not how he roles! :)
Either way, I'm excited.

I'll do a recap of our weekend on Monday and give a special tribute to our marriage.
Until then, we've got some celebrating Jesus to do for our first year of marriage!!

If you stumble upon my blog over the weekend, see previous post. :)

I love you Peter Eugene Abrigg.

House Progress

Here is the progress from last week. It's alot!!!!

2 posts in 1 day!

I'm about to post twice. I have lots of events to share, but it might take me a while. My fingers are freezing. I got to work this morning and it was 57 degrees in the office. So, needless to say, it hasn't warmed up to much in an hour.

We had an EXTREMELY busy weekend. To be honest, it was really a weekend at all. We apparently tried to pack as many things as possible in....

Friday night we celebrated Thomas's birthday at a place called Dovie's in Addison. PLEASE NEVER GO HERE. That's a lie, you probably could go and have a better dining experience. Needless to say, the party of 17 I was with got ALL of our food for free and free wine. I felt so bad for the manager in charge. She cried! We told her it wasn't her fault!
As soon as we got home we hit the hay.

Saturday morning I forced myself to stay in bed until 10 even thoug Peter was up at 7. As soon as I got up it was WORK, WORK, WORK. Natasha and I aggressively prepared for Rachel and Craig's shower at the house ALL day while the guys tended to the front lawn and bushes and hung Christmas tree lights. Here are pics to document the occasion.

Don't worry, there are 4 stockings. One for me, Peter, Thomas and Natasha. :)
We had a good time, but I was D-E-A-D tired when it was all said and done.

Sunday morning Peter and I woke up around 6ish to head downtown for the White Rock Half Marathon. Peter did a rockin job!!!
He finished in 1 hour and 47 minutes and 55 seconds. WITHOUT REALLY TRAINING!!!!!
Sarah made shirts for us. BUT, becuase it was SO STINKING COLD, we didn't get to show them off very much. Let's just say I WAS NOT prepared for the cold.
We met them at the 6 mile mark and then again at the end. But, I'm retarded and left my camera in the car on teh 6 mile mark.
Here's some pics.

After the race, Peter and I picked up some soup from Corner Bakery and headed back to the house to warm up and take a nap. I woke up that morning before the race, and still, this morning it was there. I realized that I was dehydrated! I must have forgotten to drink ANY water in the last 3 or 4 days. I'm not sure HOW that happened.
Anyways, after our nap Peter headed to a Christmas party at church without me and I headed to my sister's Young Life "Coffee Talk" Christmas party to lead worship with Jourdan and 2 of my sister's high school girls. We had a great time!! I didn't take any pictures. Maybe my sister will send me some. :)
Anyways, after a packed weekend, we were in bed at 8:45pm last night. It was glorious.

I'm not correcting my spelling mistakes because I'm too tired.
The end.

NEW YORK AT CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Well, we're back, safely. We celebrated our first anniversary this past weekend in NYC. Our anniversary isn't until December 15th, but we had to celebrate early. Friday morning we headed to the airport around 5:45 to catch our 7am flight to Houston. Everything was going well until we boarded the plane. It seemed as if it was foggy in Houston. GREAT. So, we sat at our gate for an hour and half before we were given the go ahead to fly. Unfortunately I was a basket case the whole flight, because I knew we were going to miss our connecting flight which was to leave at 9:09am. We landed in Houston at 9:15. So, fortunately, there was a girl next to us who was headed to NYC as well. She had been calling her mom looking for other options. She let us know that there was a 10:45am flight leaving that we could catch standby. SOOO, we basically RAN (I'm not sure why because it was only 9:30ish). It was on the opposite end of the airport, of course. SOOO, thankfully, they had actually put us on that flight! Peter had Chicken Express and I had Subway at 10 in the morning. Hilarious. We landed in NYC around 3 something and headed to our hotel! It turned out to be a great little hotel in Chelsea! Perfect for us! Here is a pic of us unpacking and getting ready for the nights events. We got in our warm clothes and walked 30 blocks down 5th Avenue and stopped at the Europa Cafe for dinner. We had some great flat bread sanwiches with turkey, cheese, pickles and hot mustard! We were energized and ready for the next adventure. We ended up in Rockefeller Center for THIS AMAZING SITE......... We waited in line for an hour to go ice skating and it was well worth the 25 dollars a piece to do so! Afterall, there was no time limit!!! Here's a few pics and a video.
After ice skating we walked around Rockefeller Center into some stores and then walked on into Times Square. That place still amazes me. There were people EVERYWHERE!!! We passed by this.... I bought a hat, which you will see in the next pics. After Times Square, we headed home. We were beat after a day of travelling and lots of walking!!!

Saturday morning we slept in and went downstairs for our free breakfast. It was important that we eat quickly because we had to be on Canal Street IMMEDIATELY! I prepared Peter on the subway ride of how quickly this will all happen. I instructed him to follow close behind and not to be scared.
THIS picture below shows you the damage that was done in less than an hour or so. :)

We even headed back down to Chinatown again once more on Sunday. :)
After our shopping spree we rested in at the hotel for about an hour and then met our friend Luke for lunch. I regretfully forgot to take a picture of us. He took us to a fabulous Thai restuarant! I was FULLLL.
After lunch we decided to go wait in line for Broadway tickets. But, much to our dismay, the line was well over a mile long. We debriefed and decided we'd try again on Sunday morning for the 2 o'clock showing. Sooooo, we headed through Times Square and shopped around. We then headed to the all familiar H&M and decided to hop down 5th avenue for some more shopping. At around 5 we went to a HUGE Catholic mass. There were SO MANY people there, and I must say it was very interesting. We then hit FAO Scwartz, Trump Tower, the Nike Store, Anthropologie, and a few others. By this time, it was time for dinner. Luke introduced us to a fabulous hole in the wall Italian food restaurant. It was glorious!!! We then hit up Bryant Park for this outdoor Shopping and Ice Skating. We just walked around to the different Christmas booths and decided to take a picture under the tree.

We headed home for a much needed sleep.
Sunday, we meant to wake up early and go get tickets for the Broadway show, but realized we'd be late to Luke's church if we did. So, we again, opted out of standing in line. We Walked out of our hotel to see that it was SNOWING! It was so pretty!!! We loved worshipping in NYC with Luke. I Secretly wanted to get up there and join the choir singing "O Come O Come Emmanuel," but I refrained. We talked with Luke for a long time and then headed for some pizza for lunch. We also hit up Bloomingdale's and a walk around Central Park. Here's some pics. IT was beautiful!

Sunday evening we celebrated our anniversary in Little Italy at a great restaurant. I can't believe I didn't have someone take our picture! I might have had to much wine or something. Or, I probably just forgot!!! It rained on us on the way there and on the way back. We left our umbrella in our hotel room. We laughed it off!!!
We had a great dinner. Unfortunately, all that rich food didn't sit well with my stomach, so I was up until around 3am. I was fine when I got up the next morning.

Monday, our last day, we decided there were a few things we needed to do! So, we headed to Bleecker Street for some AMAZING cupcakes at the Magnolia Bakery. I'm retarded and didn't take pics. We then found a local dinner in Greenich Village for breakfast at 12. :) We walked around and then hopped on the subway and headed downtown to Wall Street and The World Trade Center. I'm sure you've all seen too many pics, so I won't post any.
We had to be back at our hotel at 3, so we booked it back and got in our Lincoln car off to La Guardia.
We had an interesting travel experience on the way home. We get to the Continental counter to realize that ALL flights were delayed and that we would miss our connecting flight. Long story short, we ended up at the American counter for a non-stop flight at 8pm. Or so we though. After being strip searched and my bag testing positive for some chemicals, 45 minutes later we were at our gate. After waiting a few hours, we find out that our flight was delayed 45 minutes. Then another hour! We ended up leaving New York around 10ish to arrive at DFW after midnight. We finally climbed in bed after 1am exhausted and mad that we had to go back to work!!!

Overall, it was a a wonderful trip.
Thanks for sticking with this post!!
